Life before meeting Jesus

Hi my name is Diane and I have been Catholic all my life. When I was younger my mom took me to church every weekend. She made sure I got all my sacraments but as I got older I decided I didn't need God and that I could control my own life. When my husband and I had our two children we thought it would be a good idea to give them at least a foundation in God like we had been given when we were kids. However, I knew something was missing. I found myself saying... there has to be more. I was going through the motions but I was still empty in myself.

My encounter with Jesus

God heard my call and came to present himself to me. God told me He loved me and wanted a relationship with me. God missed me as much as I missed Him. This has been many years ago and God and I have been on a journey together.

The fruit of my encounter with Jesus

I can't say it has always been easy but He has helped me every step of the way. I am so glad that many years ago I cried out to God and He answered me. I encourage each of you to do the same. “God, please come into my life because there has to be more!”
